What a great 4th!

Our Gang began with a lazy morn and coffee, but of course children run our families, so after those few precious, peaceful moments; and gathering the best travel deals; we all were off. This was one of our best;money saving; 4th of July adventures!

My family and I drove to a small town in North Georgia called Calhoun. The people are friendly gas prices were cheap and the festival was the best; we chose to avoid the larger crowds this year. There were food vendors at every turn, games and bouncy houses; plenty of activities for kids; and the concert was great. Small towns usually have more free activities than the larger cities and it just happens that the parking and admission where we went was free.

As you know from our family blog we fight disease, and once again illness cut our trip short, however we enjoyed the time spent;

honestly there is nothing like being able to watch fire works from the top of your mountain.

This year our families chose different destinations but we stayed together through photos and calls. Whether at a park or at home our families showed their 4th of July spirit and each one has memories with their children that are priceless.

We ALL had a great 4th! We so hope you did.
